Wegen einer Annonce kommt der gut aussehende Ingenieur Ward Weaver (Luke Perry) zum beeindruckenden Anwesen der jungen, schönen und blinden Pianistin Grace Stearn (Kelly Harrison). Um über die Runden zu kommen, gibt sie der 10jährigen Emily Klavierunterricht und vermietet die Zimmer im 1. Stock an Weaver. Dieser spielt jedoch ein böses Spiel mit Grace, die in ihrem eigenen Haus zur Gefangenen des Psychopathen wird. Ein atemberaubend spannender Thriller mit vielen Wendungen.
